Diathermy is a cauterisation treatment via a high frequency heat current that delivers very successful results in the treatments of fine visible distended capillaries, skin tags, dermatosis papulosa nigra (DPN) and millia which are white, pearly, small yet hard lesions found on drier areas of the skin, commonly distributed around the upper cheeks in groups or on its own.
